Delivery Snafu

The stove didn’t come today! The Sears delivery was from 7-9am this morning, so Jord stayed home until they arrived instead of bugging my dad or Tootsie to come to our rescue for the billionth time. They showed up around 8:15 with only a replacement refrigerator. Somehow the stove didn’t make it on the truck from the manufacturer and apparently it will now arrive on October 14th. What kind of service is that? We ordered the appliances on September 12th! First of all, why should we believe that it will come on the 14th when they have already rescheduled the delivery twice? Secondly, why do they think that we have an unlimited amount of two-hour windows to sit at home and wait for deliveries in the middle of the week? So we continue to live without a stove – total bummer!
